THE NECKLACE

This short story "The Necklace" by Guy De Maupassant tells about the life of one lovely couple that lives in France. Their life is not luxurious and not poor but just simple. Base on the story my favorite character is Mathilde Loisel's husband. He's the one lovely and kind husband and willing to do just anything to please his wife. And he willing to buy a new dress for his wife worth four hundred francs of from saving money.

Also, her husband was a very patient and diligent person. For example, he worked hard to replace the lost jewelry of his wife borrowed from Mrs.Forestier to attend to a special party. After so much effort that her husband work on he managed to buy a replacement or the lost necklace which is worth almost thirty-six thousand francs.

Furthermore, Mathilde's husband is an honorable person and also sets a good example for everyone, especially for men how to be a good husband and responsible in all situations. Despite the need to make great sacrifices. For example, he had to spend ten years paying off his debt and losing everything to make his wife happy. For the most part, we all should take a great example from this interesting story.

  1. Salam Kamaludin,
First of all, please be careful with your spelling and punctuation especially. Capital letters should be used at the beginning of a new sentence. Please run through and check your work before submitting.
Good try in answering the question on The Necklace. Main points are evident and described quite clearly with some relevant examples. Examples were taken from the story and this is a good effort to justify your points. Some connecters were used as well to link ideas in the paragraph. Good try!
